Pre School: Co-Curricular Activities

“Education is a holistic endeavour that involves the whole person, including our bodies, in a process of formation that aims our desires, primes our imagination and orients us to the world.”
                                                                                                                                                                                                James K.A. Smith

BMH’s Co-Curricular Activities (CCA) programme aims to enrich and supplement the educational experience at Bromsgrove School Mission Hills. Our CCA programmes are structured along two main pathways:

1) Student Expertise Development (SED)

2) Student Interest Development (SID)

For the former, the SED CCAs, we recommend Pre School students sign up as a year-long commitment, and ideally, students would continue them year on year. In Pre School, for SED CCAs, parents who have enrolled in Term 1, would have priority for re-enrollment for Term 2. In this way, SED CCAs give students a greater depth of expertise in their chosen CCA skills.

For the latter, the SID CCAs, students can enroll in them on a termly basis, and continue year-long should they wish and where there is availability. In this way, SID CCAs give students a greater breadth of exposure and help them develop interests across a holistic range.

Our CCAs commence from Pre School and continue through Prep School. Our CCAs run for 50-55 minutes (and some for 90 minutes) from 3:30pm on weekdays. Our CCA programmes allow students the opportunity to pursue a passion in greater depth, try something for the first time, or develop the fundamentals towards Elite Sports. We are delighted to offer high-quality CCAs in the 2018/2019 academic year, across the Athletics, Language, Arts and STEM domains.
